Principles For Effective Parents & Teen Relationships

*There's no Teenager that is bad, they only have bad habits; and they have the capacity to change.*

*Parents who don't have time for their children tend to lose them to friends they don't know that may give them wrong advice.*

*Globally, Teenagers are top in crime rate. The kingdom of darkness is working tirelessly to catch them young and destroy their future.*

*One of the challenges of Teenagers is "Nobody understands them". Even they don't understand themselves.*

*For you to effectively relate with Teenagers you must understand them and for you to understand them you must know what they like and what they don't like.*

*Teenagers hate condemnation, complaints, criticism (negatively), comparison, compulsion, castigation etc.*

*Teenagers like parents who respect, encourage, listen, appreciate, trust, are nice, and pardon them.*

*To understand Teenagers, you must love them irrespective of their weaknesses. Where there's no love, there's no understanding. Love covereth a multitude of sin.*

*Understanding can overcome any situation, however mysterious or insurmountable it may appear to be.*

*If you have not trained your Teenagers, don't blame them when they don't do things right.*

*Teenagers don't care how much you know until they know how much you care.*

*Teenagers hear what you say but they do what they see you do. You're their Model.*

*Teenagers are attracted to parents/workers who are current, updated and well informed.*

*You can't flow very well if you are not current especially on social media, music, sports, trendy fashions/slangs etc.*

*Don't keep discipline away from your Teenagers. A child left to himself will bring shame and reproach to his parents.*

*Discipline will not destroy your Teenagers but it will shape them and bring out the best in them.*

*Discipline your Teenagers with Love. Don't disgrace them publicly. Respect their values.*

*As a Parent, your Teenager's result is your result.*

*Thanks.✍️*
