Hello sir, I dreamt that i was in the midst of people, friends Sha, and some how we felt we should cook, so rice was cooked, after the food was done they started sharing the food, we were going there one by one with our plate to receive our share of the food but when it came to my turn, instead of rice, i was given salt, it filled my plate and I wanted to protest but the person that was sharing the food (my nccf - Nigeria coppers Christian Fellowship papa, during my nysc) said that is what they are giving me, so i went away with it and my friends that we are walking together were making fun of me because I was given salt.

Sir what could the dream mean?

In the Bible, salt is often used as a symbol of different things, in different contexts. The Old Covenant’s sacrifices were salted. There was also such a thing as a “covenant of salt” – apparently, salt could symbolise peace and friendship. In many languages, salt is used as a symbol of wit or wisdom, and that seems to be the case in certain bible-passages as well.

Many have read or heard such New Testament phrases as “you are the salt of the earth”, Matthew 5:13, and “if the salt has lost its flavour, how shall it be seasoned”, Luke 14:34, and so on.

You are the salt of life, the lord had just honoured you. I see his grace,honour,calling,mercy and blessing all over you.
