I had this dream recently where I am standing in the kitchen of my current workplace.  There is an ex colleague of mine present and she is telling me that my cousin's girlfriend doesn't like me because of some insecurity.  I am really surprised and say that he is my cousin so how can I be attracted to my cousin.  It seems this ex-colleague is helping me to clean as there is going to be a wedding - my older brothers.  I then see a blue truck parked outside the kitchen window and in the passenger seat there sits a brown dog.  At first I think the dog is cute but then see the dog is starting to look vicious and is baring its teeth.  I say " I wouldn't want to be near that dog it looks dangerous" 
My brother then gives me an engagement ring.  It is silver with diamonds.  I am disappointed because I don't like the ring and want a nicer one.  I am then looking online at wedding dresses and cakes but feel disappointed because none of them appeal to me.

I have no idea what this dream means or what the dog represents.  In real life, the ex colleague I used to work with was just a colleague and we were not close just colleagues.  My cousin in the dream is married in real life and lives overseas. My older brother is also married and overseas but is quite a strong Christian and positive role model in my life.

I have never heard of this blood bond and yes I am single praying for a husband.....My spiritual life is picking up as Ive been getting closer to the lord and learning to walk in authority rather than fear.
I am not understanding this link to my cousin please explain more..

Thank you, it makes a lot of sense, I am very intimidated by men for some reason I think this goes back to fear in the past, however I am learning to walk in authority and cast this fear down.  In the dream it is my brothers wedding I am preparing for but he chooses me a engagement ring - what does that mean?
