Please,I would like to ask.......

1)  The word of God says  in Mathhew 5:28 that " anyone who looks at a woman (or man) lustfully has  already committed adultery with her (or him)   in  his(or her)  heart".  By the word 'look', i believe the bible means you have to see the person with your eyes right? Then if so, is it possible to have feelings of lust towards someone that you have never seen face to face nor seen even his/her picture before; someone you just chat with online and the chats are not sinful ones? Or is that love and not lust?

Now to your question ;


There is quite gap and differences between LUST & LOVE,and yes, the act of Lust can be committed even from afar or through social media as it's all in the mind ; the lustful desires,sexual desires, imaginary pictures of sexual longings,sexual thoughts,longing for sexual act,high and uncontrollable expectation and self romancing among others are few among thousands of sexual desires or lust.


Love on the other hand is often borne out of healthy thoughts and imaginations such as ;
Marriage/wedding,having kids,showing distance care for such,having family together, giving, caring, godly sacrifices,commitment, faithful, the fear of God(is there),no sexual desires,and it's devoid of any form of uncontrollable desires or expectation.


In a nutshell, Love is logical, reasonable and God is involve, while Lust is uncontrollable and extremely emotional.

Lust is a temptation and an evil that overcomes many of us. It is born of Satan and the flesh. Every single one of us is subject to lust. If we are to overcome it, we must be strong. Use these Bible verses to find out why you should resist lust, and use them to strengthen yourself.

Most importantly, you must know that the best and most powerful weapon against the spirit of lust and how to conquer it lies in your mind,how you control your mind, what you entertain into her and what you allow your physical sight to view.

Therefore, you must as a matter of all seriousness and anger fight most of the battle in your mind and sight. For there lies your real and greatest victory against the spirit of lust.

Careful of what you watch on TV, social media, what you entertain on your mind/heart and the kind of thought therein.
